San Francisco International Airport — The Buncke Clinic is 22.5 miles from Oakland International Airport. The drive can take an hour when traffic is heavy. SFO can accommodate corporate and private aircraft.
Oakland International — The Buncke Clinic is 15 miles from SFO. The drive can take an hour when traffic is heavy. Scottsdale Airport is 10 miles away and can accommodate corporate and private aircraft.

San Jose Mineta Internation Airport — The Buncke Clinic is 48 miles from San Jose Norm Mineta International Airport. The drive usually takes an hour. The airport can accommodate corporate and private aircraft.

There are many convenient lodging options in San Francisco. CPMC offers shuttle access between campuses.

The Buncke Clinic routinely submits claims to insurance carriers. Please contact your insurance company to verify medical coverage and to obtain any needed authorization prior to your visit. Often, your insurer's customer service number is printed on the back of your insurance card.

The Buncke Clinic encourages patients to bring all recent, pertinent medical records, including:

• Copies of medical record information from your health care providers outside of of The Buncke Clinic
• All radiologic films, CDs, DVDs, videos and written radiologic reports related to the clinical question
• All pathology reports from relevant biopsies

Generally, patients obtain their medical records from their providers. If additional records are needed once you are here, The Buncke Clinic can contact your provider. You'll be asked to sign a consent form to release your records.

You can bring children with you, but no child care is offered. Many visitors find it convenient to bring a responsible person along to watch children during your appointment.

Relatives and friends are welcome. They may be asked to stay in the waiting area during some exams.

A physician is available and on call 24 hours a day. The Buncke Clinic offices are open Monday through Friday and is closed for all major U.S. holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
